Strategy:
• Discuss Customer's business development objectives, team member(s), and corporate capabilities;
• Assist in developing strategic approach to targeting government opportunities;
• Develop Market Analysis (federal budget trends, competitive landscape, and SWOT);
• Review and provide feedback on Customer's capabilities statement.
Lead Generation:
• Survey public and private procurement resources and business intelligence tools;
• Review and forward identified opportunities to team member(s) which include pre-solicitations, RFI (Sources Sought, Special Notices), RFQ, RFP, BPAs, BAAs;
• Track and monitor identified opportunities, as well as identify possible incumbent(s), and interested vendors;
• Assist with the identification and development of teaming partners and/or prime or sub-contractor(s) relationships;
• Search for key government decision makers, program managers, buyers, and forward contact information to assigned team member(s); and
• Conduct weekly calls to review and discuss lead generation activities.
Capture Management:
• Determine key discriminators and customer value-proposition;
• Build teaming alliances in order to strengthen the customer's position; and
• Develop profiles on potential competitors.
