Women in Defense Conference Panel
The Winvale Group Moderates the 2009 Women in Defense National Fall Conference, Bonney Adams of Winvale Moderates Women’s Inspirational Panel
PRLog (Press Release) – Oct 12, 2009 – The Winvale Group (Winvale), a government contracts consultancy and value-added reseller, announced that its Director of Business Development and Client Strategy, Bonney L. Adams, recently served as moderator of the 2009 Women in Defense National Fall Conference at the Westin Alexandria, Virginia. Adams led the Inspirational Panel, which discussed how women leaders achieve their goals and rise to the top of their industry. The discussion was based on remarkable stories of accomplished women and served to inspire other women in their own journeys.
“While working in a traditionally male-dominated field can be challenging, the opportunities for female professionals in the defense industry are numerous and quite interesting,” said Adams. “I have a circle of female friends and colleagues who hold leadership roles in the defense industry, and we serve as mentors to younger women who desire to pursue careers in this field. The defense industry is a passion of mine, and it is my sincere goal to support and strengthen this industry by continuously offering to meet its needs with the best possible solutions in the market.”
“We’re proud to be a part of this conference and to support Women in Defense,” said David Sonde, Managing Partner at The Winvale Group. “We have worked with a large number of women-owned companies that specialize in the defense field. Bonney’s passion and the hurdles women face in the field are even more reasons for us to further our involvement in the industry.”
